Formally known as Greif Philippines, Inc. was registered in Philippines Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on 2nd April 1996 to engage in the manufacturing and selling of Industrial and Commercial Packaging products such as 210 THL and OHL Steel Drums, Polycarbonate Water Bottles, HDPE Medium Plastic Drums (Jerricans) and importing products from its sister company such as 220L Large Plastic Drums, Conical Drums and IBC.
In January 2019, GL Packaging (S) Pte Ltd, the parent company, a company incorporated in the Republic of Singapore officially acquired Greif Philippines, Inc. as wholly-owned subsidiary and rename it as GL Packaging Philippines, Inc. GL Packaging (S) Pte Ltd has more than 30 years experience in the business is not new to this industrial.
GL Packaging Philippines, Inc. retained all the employees and carry on the operation as usual to serve all the esteemed customers. The numbers of headcount have been increased from 32 persons to 62 persons and new machinery such as spray booth were added to the plant.

The company is certified to ISO 9001-2008 and all the Steel Drums, Medium Plastic Drums are UN Certified for the transport of Dangerous Goods issued by the Philippines Ports Authority.

All the cold-roll steel material is imported from Japan, Taiwan and China. All coated with DOS-A rust inhibitor and complied with ASTM A1008-16 Modified CSB-M. Closures, Flanges and Plugs was mainly supplied by Tri-Sure. Baked Enamel exterior paint which is RoHS certified is also imported from Singapore and also supplied by local reputable manufacturer. Our products couldn’t be perfect without our friendly suppliers, thanks to all of them for their supports.
Work Place Safety and welfare of all employees is the top priority of the company. The company also provided bursary to all the eligible employee’s children. Charity is also part of GL Packaging Philippines, Inc. culture.
